Personal data

Your personally identifiable data (first name, last name, and email) are processed by CASHBASHA, with registered office at Amman, Jordan, in its capacity of controller of the personal data.

Your data are processed for the purpose of administering your membership of and process your orders on the CASHBASHA website and for direct marketing. CASHBASHA will use your personal data only for the purposes indicated above.

CASHBASHA may transfer your data to its commercial partners, who may be located in a country outside the Middle East & North Africa Regions (“MENA”) where other standards of data protection might apply. When you provide us with your personal data you consent to your personal data being exported outside the MENA.

Subject to the above and except to the extent that communications of personal data to companies whose intervention as data processors, acting on behalf and under the sole control of CASHBASHA, is required to accomplish the purposes indicated above, CASHBASHA will not disclose, sell, rent or exchange such personal data to any other organization or entity, unless you are first notified and expressly agreed with it, or as otherwise required by law.

We draw your attention to the fact that you have the right to access and restrict your data and, where appropriate, request rectification of any erroneous data relating to you. You may furthermore, at any moment, object by means of a simple request and free of charge, to the future processing of personal data relating to you for the purpose of direct marketing. These rights may be exercised by sending an e-mail regarding any questions you may have to [email protected], or by ordinary mail at the aforementioned address.

The CASHBASHA website may contain links to other websites not owned or operated by CASHBASHA. Please be aware that CASHBASHA is not responsible for the privacy practices of such websites and that this privacy policy applies solely to data collected by the CASHBASHA website.

Cookies and action tags

We also collect non-personally identifiable information passively using "cookies" and "action tags".

"Cookies" are small text files that are placed on your computer in order to identify your web browser and the activities of your computer on the CASHBASHA website and other websites. We may use cookies to allow us to statistically monitor how you are using the CASHBASHA website to help us improve our online offerings, or to determine the popularity of certain content. We furthermore send a "session cookie" to your computer when you log in to the CASHBASHA website. These session cookies allow us to recognize you if you visit multiple pages during the same browser session, without needing to re-enter your login information multiple times. Once you log out or close your browser, these session cookies are deleted. Although most browsers are initially set to accept cookies, you may reset your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie or to reject cookies generally. Most browsers offer instructions on how to do so in the "Help" section of the toolbar. Please be aware that if you decline the use of cookies you will be unable to login to the CASHBASHA website.

"Action tags" also known as web beacons or gif tags, are a web technology used to help track website usage information, such as how many times a specific page has been viewed. Action tags are invisible to you, and any portion of the CASHBASHA Website, including advertisements, or email sent on our behalf, may contain action tags. We may select and use from time to time different third parties to track website usage through action tags on the CASHBASHA Website.

By using cookies and action tags together, we are able to gain valuable information to improve the CASHBASHA website and online offerings and measure the effectiveness of the CASHBASHA advertising and marketing campaigns.

How to Access and Control Your Information

You have certain choices available to you when it comes to your information. Below is a summary of those choices, how to exercise them and any limitations.

Your Choices

You have the right to request a copy of your information, to object to our use of your information (including for marketing purposes), to request the deletion or restriction of your information, or to request your information in a structured, electronic format. Below, we describe the tools and processes for making these requests.

Your request and choices may be limited in certain cases: for example, if fulfilling your request would reveal information about another person, or if you ask to delete information which we are permitted by law or have compelling legitimate interests to keep. Where you have asked us to share data with third parties, for example, by installing third-party apps, you will need to contact those third-party service providers directly to have your information deleted or otherwise restricted. If you have unresolved concerns, you may have the right to complain to a data protection authority in the country where you live, where you work or where you feel your rights were infringed.

Access and update your information

Our Services and related documentation give you the ability to access and update certain information about you from within the Service. For example, you can access your profile information from your account and search for content containing information about you using keyword searches in the Service. You can update your profile information within your profile settings and modify content that contains information about you using the editing tools associated with that content.

Deactivate your account

If you no longer wish to use our Services, you may be able to deactivate your Services account. If you can deactivate your own account, that setting is available to you in your account settings. Otherwise, please contact us by emailing [email protected]

Delete your information

Our Services and related documentation give you the ability to delete certain information about you from within the Service. For example, you can remove content that contains information about you using the key word search and editing tools associated with that content, and you can remove certain profile information within your profile settings. Please note, however, that we may need to retain certain information for record keeping purposes, to complete transactions or to comply with our legal obligations.

Request that we stop using your information

In some cases, you may ask us to stop accessing, storing, using and otherwise processing your information where you believe we don’t have the appropriate rights to do so. For example, if you believe a Services account was created for you without your permission or you are no longer an active user, you can request that we delete your account as provided in this policy. Where you gave us consent to use your information for a limited purpose, you can contact us to withdraw that consent, but this will not affect any processing that has already taken place at the time. You can also opt-out of our use of your information for marketing purposes by contacting us, as provided below. When you make such requests, we may need time to investigate and facilitate your request. If there is delay or dispute as to whether we have the right to continue using your information, we will restrict any further use of your information until the request is honored or the dispute is resolved, provided your administrator does not object (where applicable). If you object to information about you being shared with a third-party app, please disable the app or contact your administrator to do so.

Opt out of communications

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from CashBasha by following the instructions in those emails or by emailing [email protected]. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
